My Story

I possess an ardent passion for design, a sentiment that has thrived since my formative years. Even in my youth, I enthusiastically engaged with AutoCAD and engineering tablets, a sentiment my father often recalls. My journey led me to attain a Bachelor’s in Art and Design from Iowa State University, which paved the way for a career within Minneapolis' advertising agencies.

In a pivotal moment, I initiated Agency Couture. This venture allowed me to immerse myself in the dynamics of business management, design, and marketing. Along this path, I discerned that aiding other enterprises in their growth journey and narrative development resonated profoundly with me. Consequently, I embarked on freelancing under the aegis of Agency Couture, later rebranding to the succinct "aCo Digital."

My expertise found its canvas in an array of organizations, spanning Fortune 500 corporations, governmental bodies, educational institutions, startups, and advertising agencies. Recognizable names like MetLife, Best Buy, General Mills, Pearson Learning, Broker’s International, and General Dynamics have enriched my portfolio.

Elle and Co beckoned, presenting an occasion to spearhead a team of creative minds. I fortified the creative design and project direction, streamlined processes, and ventured into a wholesale showroom in Dallas, Texas.

My journey remains steadfast, propelled by an unyielding zeal. I covet the opportunity to partner with more enterprises, further refine my skills, and foster internal growth within companies. Beyond my design acumen, I've conceived and realized various software applications. Additionally, I pursued advanced academic pursuits, returning to college to pursue a Master’s degree and PhD in Human-Computer Interaction. While I have not officially graduated, I'm pleased to share that I have successfully completed all the requisite coursework and stand on the brink of graduation. This academic pursuit aligns seamlessly with my commitment to pushing boundaries and enriching my expertise in the realm of design and technology.
